About Bernedoodles
Bernedoodles are a wonderful combination of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. These mixes are highly intelligent and easy to train, making them a fantastic choice for a family pet. The fact that these dogs are low shedding is just an added bonus!
Our puppies are known to be very friendly, outgoing, and excellent with children. They are loyal dogs that love to be active but love relaxing as well. They will stay right at your side and just want to be a part of whatever you're doing. They are great companions for anything from hiking to romping in the snow to lounging on the couch. Because Bernedoodles possess a low to non shedding coat, they do require very regular grooming. Every Bernedoodle coat is different, so it can be hard to predict exactly how much grooming each puppy will require. Bernedoodles can have straight, wavy or curly coats, or anything in between. Typically, the straighter the coat, the less grooming is required, but the more the dog may shed. If the coat is curlier, you will likely have little to no shedding, but the dog may be required to see a groomer as often as every 4-6 weeks. It is recommended that you begin having your dog groomed from a young age to help them become accustomed to it.
